Viril Edge contains yohimbe (Pausinystalia yohimbe), a botanical containing the stimulant-like alkaloid yohimbine. NCCIH records reports of raised blood pressure, rapid or irregular heartbeat, anxiety and more serious effects at higher intakes, and flags interactions with blood-pressure medication, nitrates, antidepressants including MAOIs, and other stimulants.
